We absolutely loved the first leg of what had been planned, and looked forward to, as a whole day of ferry tripping. Justin and Karen greeted us warmly and provided friendly commentary as we took in the sunshine from the Wharf to Kawana Waters where we planned to spend some time before lunch at the hotel and then back in the ferry to walk Point Cartwright. They provided us with all the information we needed to do this and we were so disappointed when a fall on the paving in Kawana led to an emergency hospital visit and a fractured ankle. We didn't get to complete our day, and have hoped they didn't think we abandoned our plans intentionally. Hopefully, when free of moon boot we can return and really enjoy everything a day ticket provides. 4.5 stars for what we did do and how we were greeted and half a star for the beautiful sunshine on the water.
