This ticket allows you to travel between Kawana Waters Hotel and The Wharf Mooloolaba, making stops at various scenic locations along the way. Each ferry loop takes about 80 minutes, giving you ample time to explore each stop. Key locations include Kawana Waters Hotel, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River Fisheries, Pier 33, and The Wharf Mooloolaba. You can travel in either direction and reboard as many times as you like throughout the day.
Look out for Mooloolaba Ferry signs to find each pick-up point. The possibilities were there...🛥️🛥️
We absolutely loved the first leg of what had been planned, and looked forward to, as a whole day of ferry tripping. Justin and Karen greeted us warmly and provided friendly commentary as we took in the sunshine from the Wharf to Kawana Waters where we planned to spend some time before lunch at the hotel and then back in the ferry to walk Point Cartwright. They provided us with all the information we needed to do this and we were so disappointed when a fall on the paving in Kawana led to an emergency hospital visit and a fractured ankle. We didn't get to complete our day, and have hoped they didn't think we abandoned our plans intentionally. Hopefully, when free of moon boot we can return and really enjoy everything a day ticket provides. 4.5 stars for what we did do and how we were greeted and half a star for the beautiful sunshine on the water.
